Hi! I’m Owain, a PhD student at the University of Vienna. My main area of research is Spanish linguistics, with a focus on sociolinguistics, digital corpora and translation. I’m currently involved in a project researching morphosyntactic variation and change in the speech of Venezuelan migrants in German-speaking areas. I’m also working on a comprehensive Middle-Welsh – English dictionary.

Corpus of Venezuelan Speech in Vienna

My PhD project, analysing morpho­syntactic change in the speech of Vene­zuelan migrants in Vienna using an ori­ginal corpus of spoken language.

My private project, aiming to create a com­plete and compre­hensive gloss of the Four Bran­ches of the Mabi­nogion.
